For our Gas Measurement department in the Central Netherlands region, we are looking for two colleagues who want to work with us to ensure safe working environments and situations.

Customs Support Safety specializes in the issues regarding gases in sea containers, trucks, and warehouses. Our services include gas measurements, forced ventilation of containers, unloading containers & trucks with independent breathing air, risk analyses, particulate matter measurements, advice and training, and acting as an external ADR safety advisor. We are the national partner for fast and reliable gas measurements. We work with the most advanced portable measurement technology (Gasmet FTIR) and, through our continuous innovation, we are leading the way in the sector.

As a Gas Technician, you perform gas measurements on-site at our customers' locations (sea containers, trucks, and warehouses) to guarantee safe working environments and situations. You interpret the measurement results and advise customers on the conditions under which entry and unloading can take place.

• Perform gas measurements and interpret measurement results.

• Provide advice to customers regarding safe procedures and working conditions.

• Process measurement data digitally and prepare reports, including the issuance of certificates.

• Maintain equipment and check the operation of measuring devices.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and safety procedures.

• A completed MBO education, preferably in Technology, Safety, or Logistics. 

• Preferably certification as a gas technician (internal training program possible). 

• Proficiency in the Dutch and English languages (reading and writing). 

• In possession of a driving license B. 

• Strong personality, customer- and service-oriented, communicative skills 

• Structured and accurate way of working, flexible but alert to boundaries and procedures.
