The role
As a Warehouse System Administrator, you are the pivot between operations and the head office. You know the systems inside and out and ensure they work optimally. You monitor and analyze alerts, determine urgency, and take action. You work in a structured manner and keep stakeholders informed via the ticketing system. Additionally, you perform preventive maintenance on hardware and software and test the backup and recovery system semi-annually. You also provide training to colleagues and ensure security awareness.

- Analyzing problems and quickly coming up with a suitable solution within our warehouse software.
- Promoting security standards and involving colleagues in them.
- Working with the ticketing system to keep progress and status of issues transparent.
- Documenting system functionalities and providing training to colleagues.
- Collaborating with suppliers, operations, and the head office to implement improvements.
