Supervisor

You ask for and listen to the opinions of others and have a talent for planning and organizing, while also looking ahead. You always strive for quality – and dare to demand this from others as well – and handle formal and informal relationships and differences of interest skillfully. Additionally, you have at least 3 years of relevant work experience and possess a VOL-VCA diploma (or are willing to obtain one).

Bureau Schmidt is a young engineering firm with more than 90 engineers and advisors spread across our offices in Leeuwarden, Groningen, Zwolle, Heerhugowaard, and Hengelo. Our team is informal and close-knit. Additionally, we offer you:

As a supervisor, you see our projects come to life and ensure that execution runs smoothly. You monitor safety and ensure that we meet the highest quality standards. You do this by tracking progress, identifying problems early, and devising practical solutions. In short: with your keen eye and solution-oriented approach, you ensure that our projects become a success.

As a supervisor...

• You are the eyes and ears of the project manager and keep a close eye on the progress of the project

• You guide the daily operations and coordinate your activities with the site manager

• You check the technical quality of the work and verify progress reports and quantities

• You plan construction meetings and prepare weekly reports and handover files

• You supervise compliance with safety regulations

• You work for various cool clients, including municipalities, water boards, provinces, Rijkswaterstaat, and energy managers

• Together with the project manager, you ensure that we always meet (contract) agreements
