What we're looking for

HBO or WO working and thinking level, preferably in civil engineering, (technical) business administration, computer science, or a comparable field.
5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of information management and digitalization. Experience in the construction or infrastructure sector is a strong plus.
Experience with implementing digital solutions and guiding change processes within a project or organizational environment.
Strong communication skills and persuasiveness, with which you know how to bring various stakeholders along in new ways of working and developments.
You are proactive, analytical, connecting, and result-oriented.

The role

In your role as information manager, you connect an ambitious digital vision with the operational reality of our projects. You are a strong interlocutor who can communicate and collaborate effectively at various levels within the organization. You know how to bring colleagues, project teams, management, and directors along in digital developments and make the added value of good information management transparent.

At the same time, you work pragmatically and are closely involved in project execution, ensuring that digital solutions actually contribute to better processes and results. With your broad view of digitalization, you will regularly travel to projects throughout the country. You bridge the gap between IT and business, bring different interests together, and ensure that information, systems, and processes align optimally with one another.

As an information manager, you take initiative and actively contribute to the further digitalization of Boskalis Netherlands. You stimulate new ways of working and know how to make colleagues enthusiastic about improvements. In doing so, you always keep an eye on practical applicability within projects and daily practice.

What you are going to do as an information manager

What you'll do

Developing a vision: You contribute to the further development of information management within Boskalis Netherlands and translate strategic objectives into practical solutions and improvement initiatives.
Supporting projects: You support project teams in the field of information management and digitalization. You advise and guide colleagues in applying digital solutions, with attention to technology, processes, and users.
Drafting and monitoring plans: You draft project-specific information management plans, test them, and support project teams in their execution and compliance.
Management of the information landscape: You maintain an overview of the information landscape, including systems such as GIS, ACC, SharePoint, and Relatics, and ensure that these align optimally with the needs of our projects.
Improving digitalization: You participate in organization-wide improvement initiatives in the field of digitalization and information management and guide the implementation of new tools, processes, and working methods.

Your team: as an information manager, you will work within the Information cluster - a growing team that forms the link between IT and the project organization.

This is where you will be located: at our office in Papendrecht, within the Information Cluster department. Additionally, you are willing to be present regularly at project locations or at partner organizations. Flexibility in your working environment is part of this role - this way you maintain a feeling for both the shop floor and management.
