An MBO diploma at minimum level 2 or 3 in the field of Electrotechnics;
At least 1 to 3 years of experience as an (assistant) electrical technician or in a similar position;
Knowledge of construction equipment or similar installations;
An independent, solution-oriented attitude and sense of responsibility;
Good command of the Dutch language;
In possession of a driving license B.
Salary from € 3,700.- to € 4,300.- gross per 4 weeks (€ 4,004.- to € 4,660.- gross per month) based on full-time employment;

As an electrical technician at Ballast Nedam Materieel, you are an indispensable link within our projects. You ensure that the temporary power supplies at our construction sites function safely, reliably, and fully according to the applicable standards. Thanks to your craftsmanship, our colleagues can build beautiful projects without worry and our equipment remains optimally operational.
In this role, you install water and electricity and connect them to the construction site. You pull cables, install (main) distribution boards, and ensure that all facilities are connected correctly and safely. Additionally, you install fences, access control systems, and security systems, and you support the connection of temporary units. With your technical knowledge, accuracy, and solution-oriented approach, you contribute directly to a safe and well-organized working environment.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing temporary installations and electrical appliances using diagrams and drawings;
Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions, also outside regular working hours if necessary;
Installing and maintaining data, access control, and camera installations;
Inspecting and testing electrical equipment;
Preparing work: determining the approach, materials, and working method.
