What you'll do

Detecting Financial Crime (DFC) is the department within ABN AMRO that focuses on managing money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanction risks. Within DFC, the Innovation Design & Change - Data Analytics (IDDA) team is responsible for data and process analytics on a wide variety of topics within the DFC domain to enable data-driven decision-making.

  • You will work with colleagues to clarify analysis questions and understand how available data can help answer them. You will learn to present your findings clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues. Whether remote or in-office, you will take part in team meetings, workshops, and learning opportunities.
  • Explore data and write simple queries or code to answer business questions.
  • Check data quality and identify useful patterns or unexpected results.
  • Work with experienced colleagues to understand data sources and analytical approaches.
  • Summarize and present your findings in a clear, understandable way.
