As a bicycle courier, you deliver medicines for pharmacies on the cargo bike in Oosterhout.

Ideally, you are already familiar with the street network of Oosterhout. In any case, you have a good sense of orientation and quickly master the delivery work. We have an app that helps you plan the optimal route.

It is pleasant if you are a fast cyclist, but care, communication, and customer friendliness are at least as important.

Working as a bicycle courier at Velomedi means that you will deliver medicines for one or more shifts per week using a sturdy, sporty bicycle and a backpack. You do this independently. Because we work for pharmacies, you have a responsible job. You ensure that patients receive the correct medicines on time. Additionally, you obviously cannot be too faint-hearted; we also work in rain and snow. Furthermore, you have all the time to enjoy the exercise and being outdoors.

In Oosterhout, there are shifts from Monday to Friday between 12:00 PM to approximately 6:30 PM. We work these shifts for the BENU Pharmacies in Oosterhout. You can start working with us for these pharmacies from 1 day per week, but you can also cycle more shifts if you want.
In the Netherlands, we have more than 200 colleagues who combine this with another job.

You will receive a nice set of cycling clothing from us, ensuring you look sharp on the bike all year round. You will receive a short-sleeved shirt, a lined long-sleeved jacket, and a windstopper from us.

We also organize a fun staff dinner twice a year and regular pleasure rides on the bike with colleagues.

You can work 5 to 25 hours per week. Our experience is that when you cycle more than 25 hours per week, it is physically very challenging. But if you think you can handle it, then show us!

A pharmacy shift is 30 to 100 kilometers per time, depending on which pharmacy and how busy it is. Keep in mind that these are interval kilometers; days with 150 deliveries are no exception!

At Velomedi, you receive an employment contract. We pay everyone a fixed hourly wage.
