Security Technician

Telecom and Security is the partner for telecom, security, network cabling, and fire detection. What do colleagues like about working at Telecom and Security? The dynamism that the work brings with it. Every day is a new challenge at a different location that you drive to in your own work van. At Telecom and Security, you get freedom and you can work independently. The family feeling attracts our colleagues to keep working with and for each other!

• Entrepreneurship means that you work proactively and result-oriented based on your plan. Through the responsibility you take, you create freedom, autonomy, and flexibility (such as in your working hours via an optimal work-life balance);

• Stewardship means that we encourage each other to grow into the best version of yourself. Ever new opportunities will arise due to our lightning-fast growth and the ever-expanding training programs in the VDK Academy;

• Atmosphere-making means providing space for meaning and attending beautiful events, such as the recent Walibi for the whole family and this year our party at the circuit in Zandvoort, the day before the Formula 1, of which VDK is an Event Supporter of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2025 & 2026;

• The best tools and/or equipment to be able to do your job more than well;

• And of course a market-conform salary package with permanent employment.

As a security technology technician, you install burglary alarm systems and camera systems, but you also have no problem with access control systems. One day you work together with colleagues on a large project and the next day you work independently on a smaller project.

If you do not (yet) have all the desired diplomas to install (certified) installations, you can obtain them through us. If you like working on location but within your own region, and you are enthusiastic and customer-oriented, then you are the person we are looking for!

We work with the installations:

Burglary: Acre (VanderBilt), Honeywell (Galaxy), Ajax, Aritech, Risco

Camera: Milestone, Genetec, Axis, Hikvision, Comnet, Netgear
Access: Acre (ACT Pro, ACT365), Paxton, Honeywell (WIN-PAK), Cardaccess, Suprema
Intercom: Zenitel, Robin, Urmet, Aiphone, Comelit

Do you have a completed education in electrical engineering and also several years of experience? Then we would love to meet you. At Telecom & Security, we are very flexible and would like to discuss with you what you need. For example, do you want to follow a training course to get your certificates or do you want to retrain completely into security technology? A VVB is mandatory with us. D
