Pipework Fitter

You have: 

• High ambition to work in a compact team with short lines, the drive to motivate others, technical insight, and accuracy.
• Demonstrable work experience as a pipework fitter is a plus, but an eager-to-learn attitude is just as important. You can also shadow our existing fitters to learn the trade.
• Driving license B (preferably BE).
• You are flexibly deployable.
• A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written — important for communication, safety instructions, and work orders.
• A proactive work attitude; you are physically fit and accustomed to working outdoors.

We are expanding our activities in Breda! That is why we are setting up a new Pipework specialism and are looking for a Pipework Fitter who wants to help build it from day one. You will become part of a small, tight-knit, and ambitious team where we know each other, stand ready for one another, and make an impact together.

As a Pipework Fitter, you will work on diverse underground infrastructure projects. You ensure that pipes are installed, replaced, or maintained safely, professionally, and according to regulations. You will work daily with earthworkers, supervisors, and other specialists within our new discipline.

• Installing, replacing, and connecting pipes for clean and wastewater.
• Performing inspections, measurements, and testing of the piping system.
• Daily contact with the supervisor and project management.
• Recording progress in daily reports.
• Monitoring safety, quality, and planning.
• Identifying deviations and proactively thinking along with solutions.

Safety comes first and you work according to procedures and guidelines such as VCA‑VOL and GPI. You are willing to follow a BHV training course at the expense of Strukton.
