What we're looking for

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in an IT or business administration field
  • At least 7 years of experience in architecture roles within complex organizations
  • Demonstrable experience with enterprise architecture and transformation issues
  • Demonstrable knowledge of architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, Open Agile Architecture, ArchiMate, RCDA and/or Zachman
  • Experience with:
    • strategic architecture and roadmapping
    • business-IT alignment
    • governance and decision-making
    • multiple architecture domains (business, application, data, technology) and the ability to bring coherence to these
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Experience with stakeholder management at a senior level
  • Relevant sector or industry knowledge (for example within financial services, the public sector, or industry) and knowledge of their current themes
  • Strong advisory skills, administrative sensitivity, and the ability to switch between different stakeholder levels

  • A permanent contract and a gross monthly salary between € 5,100 and € 7,800 based on full-time employment (40 hours per week);
  • At Sopra Steria, we believe equal pay for equal work is important. Therefore, we determine your salary based on objective criteria such as experience, knowledge, competencies, and responsibilities. This allows us to ensure fair and transparent compensation that matches your background and the impact of your role.
  • Holiday allowance of 8%;
  • A profit-sharing scheme with a target payment of 8% of the gross (part-time) annual salary, depending on company results;
  • A mobility scheme with a choice between an electric lease car or an alternative transport arrangement, suited to your situation;

As an Enterprise Architect within our consultancy organization, you help organizations provide direction to their digital future. You develop vision, frameworks, and target architectures and ensure coherence between strategy, processes, and IT.

You advise and guide organizations in making and realizing strategic choices that are decisive for their digital future and societal impact.

What you'll do

You work on strategic issues within, among others, the public sector, financial services, and utilities. You deal with:

  • Translating business strategy into IT strategy and architecture frameworks
  • Developing roadmaps and transformation plans
  • Guiding transformation initiatives, such as the modernization of application landscapes or cloud transitions
  • Connecting strategic architecture and execution in a continuous interaction, where guiding choices are fueled by practical insights and actually land in implementation
  • Steering coherence within application, data, and technology landscapes, with an eye for modern architecture principles and technological developments
  • Developing and substantiating business cases and scenario analyses, focused on value creation and decision-making
  • Setting up and applying architecture governance

Who are we looking for

You feel comfortable in situations where not everything is clear in advance and know how to provide direction, create coherence, and substantiate choices. You know how to take people along in your story and create support for change.

We like to look at potential, interest, and motivation. You don't have to be able to do everything, but you recognize yourself in the following points. You:

  • have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • are a persuasive advisor at senior stakeholder level
  • have a clear vision on architecture and digital transformation and know how to translate this into concrete frameworks and direction
  • know how to create support and influence decision-making
  • oversee the coherence between business, processes, and IT
