A sales professional with a few years of experience who gets energy from tempo, from many conversations, and from scoring. You have proven that you can perform in a fast SaaS sales environment and you now want to take a next step in a team that is building hard. You do not wait for the phone to ring: if you have an account in mind, you find your own way in.
Furthermore, we recognize you by the following: you have at least 2 years of experience in high-velocity software sales (SaaS), you are commercially sharp without losing sight of your customer, you are eager to learn and open to coaching, and you have excellent command of Dutch. English is a plus.
Profiles that appeal to us: you come from the SaaS world and have experience with fast funnels and high volumes. Think of environments such as Lightspeed, Zenchef, or similar SME-oriented hospitality or retail tech.
Or you have a management background in hospitality, are tech-savvy, and have implemented smart tech solutions in that role, and you now want to make the transition to software sales to industries including hospitality. In both cases: you understand the world of our customers like no other.
More than 10,000 companies. Over 250,000 users. One mission: to make workforce planning and time registration simple. Our platform is built to be easy, flexible, and scalable, whether your customer has 15 or 2,500 employees.
From our headquarters in Zoetermeer and our hub in Amsterdam, 85+ colleagues work on a product that makes companies happy. The atmosphere? Open, informal, and hands-on. No endless meeting cycles here. Instead, we have short lines, fast decisions, and space to be yourself.
As an Account Executive for the Dutch market, you are the person who converts opportunities into paying customers.
You serve the B2B market across the full spectrum: from hospitality to retail, from healthcare to transport. Companies that often still work with Excel or an outdated system, where you show in a single demo how much time they will get back. The use case is recognizable, the value is quickly clear, and that makes your sales cycles nice and short.
The majority of your pipeline is warm. Our marketing continuously delivers leads from companies that are actively looking, and that is moving fast. But we do not want to be dependent only on what comes in. You will get the space, and the expectation, to also create opportunities yourself in accounts that you find interesting. How we best approach that as a team, we decide together. Your practical experience carries weight in that.
The entire sales process is yours, from discovery and demo to negotiation and close. After the close, you hand the account over to our Customer Success team. You focus entirely on new business. You work with tempo and volume, and you know when a deal deserves attention and when you should let it go.
Your day largely consists of calling and demos, because this is a hands-on sales role. Sporadically, you will head out to a customer for a personal meeting.
You will help build a growing sales team within a fast-growing organization, and that requires energy, initiative, and perseverance. You share what works for you with the team, because we all get better from each other here.
A role in which you sell a SaaS solution that truly helps companies move forward, in an environment where results and fun go hand in hand.
Growth here is no empty promise. We invest seriously in your development from day one. You start with a solid 30-60-90-day onboarding program with clear milestones, so you know exactly where you stand and what you are working towards. Additionally, you will be trained and certified via Winning by Design, the leading sales training program for SaaS, including SPICED certification. On top of that, you receive a personal development budget of €1,000 per year to invest in what moves you forward: courses, conferences, books, or coaching. You choose.
Furthermore, we offer a gross annual salary of €55,000 to €75,000 including holiday allowance based on 40 hours per week, depending on your experience. Additionally, 25 vacation days, a flexible arrangement for working from home and from the office, a good pension scheme, and travel expenses (NS Business Card or mileage allowance).
The working atmosphere? Relaxed, with free lunch, bootcamp on Thursdays, Friday afternoon drinks, and quarterly BBQs.
For the first 3 months, we expect a higher presence in the office in Zoetermeer. It makes sense: you want to quickly grasp the team, the product, and the customer, and that simply goes faster if you are there. After your onboarding, we work more hybrid.
Do you live within a maximum of one and a half hours' travel distance? Then we expect you in the office at least once a week, on Tuesday or Thursday. In practice, we handle this flexibly as soon as the trust is there. Do you live closer or do you have no problem with a bit more travel time? Being in the office every day is, of course, also possible. Additionally, there is the hub in Amsterdam where you can go.
You are not selling a vague platform that nobody understands. Shiftbase is a market leader in the Netherlands and is growing fast in Germany. A product that 10,000+ companies use daily because it simply makes their work easier. You notice that in every sales conversation: customers understand the value, the use case is recognizable, and the feedback is positive.
At the same time, we are not a lumbering oil tanker. With 85+ colleagues, you are not a number, because what you do has a direct impact on the company's course. But we are large and stable enough to offer you a serious career. No start-up roulette, but a proven business with international growth ambitions that you will become a part of.
