Principal Accountabilities

Specifics and extra accountabilities related to analysts in JG8 operating in Spectroscopy team.

Dutch Language is an absolute must.

Minimum 2.5 years of relevant work experience and ensuring ISO 17025 compliance in spectroscopy techniques.
Acting as the technical point of contact for XRF technique issues regarding XRF techniques including WD-XRF, MWD-XRF & ED-XRF.
Responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimal use of XRF equipment.
Assessing, interpreting, and validating XRF results for various petroleum products and chemicals.
Developing, implementing, and optimizing XRF methods for petroleum products, including bitumen.
Investigating deviating analysis results from inline analyzers (MWD-XRF, distillation, and DVPE) and performing root cause analyses against reference analyses.
Guiding and training analysts in XRF techniques and data interpretation.
Supporting planners and traders with mogas and AGO blending activities.
Assessing mogas blend proposals for product specifications and quality risks.
Interpreting analysis results for the purpose of blend optimization.
Advising on corrective actions for off-spec blends.
Supporting cargo release decisions based on laboratory data.
Education level: Minimum HLO
