HBO Internship Category Management

As a Category Management intern, you will support the Category Managers and Assistant Category Managers in their daily activities. You will help further develop our product categories and ensure that customers find the right assortment in our stores and online.

• You will deal with assortment changes and support promotions and analyses;
• You will have contact with various colleagues within the organization;
• You will think along about commercial opportunities and help with article management;
• You will support the improvement of product data quality;
• You will be given the space to take on projects independently and gain experience with the various processes involved in category management within a large omnichannel retailer.

• You are following an HBO (higher professional education) program, for example, Commercial Economics, Business Administration, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship & Retail Management;
• You are commercial, analytical, and curious;
• You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating with different teams;
• You are interested in retail and want to learn how commercial decisions are made within a large organization.

• An internship of 3 to 12 months;
• An internship allowance of € 400 gross per month based on 38 hours per week;
• The possibility to work partly from home;
