An experienced HR professional who enjoys tackling complex HR issues, sharing knowledge, maintaining an overview, and contributing to high-quality HR services.
For our rapidly evolving HR department and administration/HR support team, we are looking for an experienced HR professional who is well-versed in HR processes and the application of employment conditions, and who enjoys thinking along about various HR issues. You are a subject matter expert for colleagues and enjoy rolling up your sleeves. With a proactive outlook, you look beyond daily practice and see opportunities to improve processes. Do you recognize yourself in this and would you like to help build the further development of our department? Then apply quickly!
Together with your HR colleagues, you ensure that the foundation of our HR administration is in order, but your added value lies primarily in handling more complex operational HR issues, supporting HR colleagues, and further developing our services together with the team leader. You are a subject matter expert for the HR team and a trusted point of contact for NLR employees and HR advisors.
As a senior HR professional, you have a versatile role in which HR administration, service delivery, subject matter expertise, and process improvement come together. Your HR colleagues deal with daily HR processes, while you focus primarily on issues that require more experience, insight, and independence. Additionally, you actively share your knowledge with colleagues, think along about a smart distribution of work, and contribute to the quality of our services.
Subject matter expert for the HR team: you handle second-line HR issues regarding, for example, employment conditions, personnel regulations, and HR processes, secondment, and leasing, and you share your knowledge and support colleagues.
Collaborating with the team leader: you work on HR projects, improve processes, and monitor progress, particularly during peak moments.
Supporting HR Advisors and managers: you assist with operational HR issues and ensure a good connection between HR processes and practice.
Ensuring good HR services: you monitor the quality of the HR administration and have contact with employees. You contribute to the correct and timely processing of personnel data and provide support where necessary for first-line questions.
Building the HR department: you identify bottlenecks, think along about practical improvements, help to standardize work processes, and share your knowledge with colleagues.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates seniority in both behavior and HR knowledge. You don't need to know everything, but you have a solid foundation, dare to take responsibility, and know when you can act independently and when coordination is needed. "First time right" is the motto; we consider qualitative and careful HR administration and services to be important.
You will become part of a broad HR team with various expertise, from HR advice and policy to recruitment and Learning & Development. We enjoy brainstorming with each other, keeping each other sharp, and inspiring each other to move forward. There is plenty of room for your ideas, knowledge, and initiative, with an eye for one another and the collective result. Together, we work on HR services that align with the needs of the organization and contribute to our strategic ambitions.
Our HR department is rapidly evolving and is working on further professionalization and the improvement of processes and collaboration. This offers opportunities, but also asks something of you. You will join an HR department where we are working hard to improve our services. We are introducing more structure, making our processes simpler, and working more closely together. This means that not everything is yet set in stone and that there is room to think along and organize things more smartly. Your location is Amsterdam or Marknesse, but you will also regularly be at our other location for consultation and collaboration with colleagues.
