As part of the Front Office team, you are the first point of contact for our international guests, from check-in to check-out.

• Free online and offline training organized by our own Minor Hotels University Northern Europe.

22:45 You have changed and arrived in the back office with a cup of coffee. Your evening shift colleague handles the handover. You note down the action points.

23:00 You begin your checklist and stand ready behind the desk with your brightest smile to check in the last guests of the day.

00:00 You walk your first round through the hotel.

00:30 Between phone calls, you handle incoming emails and work your way through the first part of the checklist.

02:30 The remaining Food & Beverage outlets are all closed and you begin the preparations for the end of the day.

03:30 After the End of Day closing, you take a moment to eat quietly and walk another round through the hotel to see if everything is safe and calm.

05:00 Some guests are returning home after a night out; kindly yet firmly, you request that guests do not make too much noise in the corridors upstairs.

06:00 You ensure the handover is updated for the early shift and begin counting the cash register and finishing your shift.

06:45 The early shift has arrived and you can begin the handover.

07:00 Off home!

• You have a good command of the Dutch language.

• Helping guests brings a big smile to your face. The 'always a pleasure' mentality is something you identify with, and you love to go the extra mile for the guest;
• You are good at setting priorities and maintaining order during busy moments;
• You are a 'Natural Host'. Experience and a relevant education are useful, but for us, they are not the most important thing;
• You enjoy working at night and you have a great sense of responsibility;
• You are interested in computers and take pleasure in learning new systems.
