• A salary starting from € 3,546 gross per month based on 40 hours, whereby your expertise and experience determine your final entry level.

As a junior project manager packaging, you are the driving force behind the packaging development process and, together with your colleagues from Purchasing and Labeling & Translation, you ensure a flawless end result. You are a true project owner who effortlessly manages multiple packaging projects simultaneously. Naturally, you will be in close contact with suppliers, design agencies, and printers. This means you are responsible for:

• Project ownership: you manage various packaging projects simultaneously with overview and conviction, bringing them successfully to the finish line.
• Information and integration: during the preparation phase, you proactively gather the necessary information from suppliers and Purchasing. In the elaboration phase, you ensure that all these details are flawlessly integrated into the project.
• Process monitoring: together with (inter)national colleagues, suppliers, and printers, you make clear agreements regarding deadlines. You monitor the end result closely, identify bottlenecks in the process early, and address them proactively and immediately.
• Quality and commercial insight: although your role is strongly coordinating, you have a sharp eye for commercially attractive packaging. You ensure that all designs and associated requirements are executed exactly as agreed.
• Process optimization: you continuously share valuable input to improve processes. In this way, you safeguard the continuity of our packaging processes and take the collaboration with our suppliers to an even higher level.

The Packaging Management department develops packaging for the assortment purchased by Lidl Netherlands. These packages may also be for other countries that purchase our assortment. Whether it concerns regular or promotional assortments, our team of packaging managers provides more than 2,500 packages annually!
