This is what you will do

You will work within the financial heart of AS Watson Benelux, the company behind well-known retail brands such as Kruidvat, Trekpleister, and ICI PARIS XL. In this dynamic environment with 1,750 stores, three distribution centers, and three offices, you will work together with a team of 12 colleagues to ensure that financial processes not only run smoothly, but also continuously become smarter, more efficient, and future-proof.

As a Financial Specialist within the Invoice Processing team, you will contribute to the processing of more than 1 million invoices per year and serve as the right hand to the Team Lead. In this role, you will also be given plenty of room to think along about how we can design our processes even more smartly. You will join a broad finance community of 60+ professionals, where you can learn and grow every day.

No two days are the same: you will maintain a sharp overview with smart reporting, contribute to projects regarding new invoice flows and systems, and liaise with various departments and suppliers to improve processes. You do not wait around, but take initiative and come up with ideas that make our way of working a little smarter every day.

What will you do in the role of Financial Specialist?

• You identify deviations in financial processes and work actively on improvements to prevent these structurally.
• You are the connecting link between procurement, suppliers, and internal teams, and you know how to quickly get to the core of matters with your communication skills.
• You ensure that processes within the department run timely and correctly and contribute to clear analyses.
• You contribute to projects and improvement proposals that lead to more efficient collaboration within the chain.
• You take responsibility for complex administrative tasks and actively think along about smarter ways of working.
