For this role, we're looking for someone who is already based in the Netherlands, does not require sponsorship for a residence/work permit, and speaks Dutch fluently.

We are looking for an experienced fullstack developer who works on complex, mission-critical applications. You move smoothly between frontend and backend. You contribute ideas regarding architecture and development standards. You feel responsible for the quality and stability of the solution in production. You have at least seven years of experience as a developer and know how to apply that knowledge in a client-facing role.

Our consultants are deployed on large, complex projects at various leading organizations. You work in a team with other senior professionals, from cloud and platform to process and agile. You have direct contact with the client and explain technical choices clearly.

Salary

At Koodin, you benefit directly from the value you realize for our clients. As a consultant, you work with an average hourly rate between €100 and €120. The largest portion of the invoiced hourly rate benefits you. In practice, this means your total gross annual salary - including fixed salary, monthly bonus, and annual bonus - amounts to between approximately €100,000 and €145,000 per year, depending on your hourly rate, availability, and type of assignments.

Are you temporarily not on an assignment? Then your fixed salary of €4,800 per month will simply continue to be paid.

Core Competencies

Experience and level: you have at least seven years of experience as a developer, work at HBO level, and have completed at least three assignments, one of which lasted longer than a year.
Frontend: you build with React, TypeScript, and Node.js. You are familiar with modern tooling such as bundlers, linters, and test frameworks, and with state management like Redux or Zustand.
Backend: you develop with Java 11 or higher and frameworks such as Spring Boot, including Core, MVC, and Security.
API development: you build REST APIs and think about design and versioning. Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
Architecture: you work with microservices or modular monolith architectures and know the trade-offs between them.
Databases and performance: you work with SQL and NoSQL and optimize where necessary via caching and query optimization.
Cloud and containers: you have basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and work with Docker. Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
CI/CD and production: you set up pipelines
