The role

Turning customers into fans on an assembly line! Literally, because as a Cashier, you personally ring up the customer's products. You scan items, handle returns and packaging slips, and check ID documents. The (line) checkout in our store in The Hague is your domain. With a big smile on your face, you help one customer after another.

Turn customers into fans as a Cashier

You are the one. The Cashier that we at Jumbo love to see. Customer-friendly from the very first contact until the customer finally leaves the store. Are there questions? You answer them or help the customer on their way. And of course, you scan the groceries quickly and accurately. Afterwards, you draw the customer's attention to certain Jumbo promotions and ensure a secure payment. What else you do is:

Helping out in the store. You arrange the products neatly in a row and remove them if they are damaged or expired.
Keeping the shop floor and your work environment clean and tidy.
Refilling grocery bags and stacking shopping baskets as they should be.
