What we're looking for

At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Developer with AWS cloud engineering
Experience with full-stack development: from backend to frontend with Express NodeJs, and database engineering, to optimize database usage, minimize queries, and optimize tables
Experience with Terraform modules (for networking, compute, storage, CI/CD pipelines), Github Actions (for automated testing, security scans, and deploys), Node.js services (TypeScript) running on AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, and EKS
Experience with CloudWatch, DataDog (for monitoring & observability)
Extensive knowledge of cloud security for both infrastructure and microservices to enforce best practices (IAM policies, VPC design, security groups)

Nice to have

Excellent command of the English language

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

A gross salary between €5,600 - €7,300 per month (based on 40 hours).
An annual bonus of max 7.5% of your annual salary based on organizational objectives.
30 vacation days (with the possibility to buy or sell vacation days) and 8% holiday allowance. You build up a pension through participation in the Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds voor het Levensmiddelenbedrijf (Industry Pension Fund for the Food Industry).
An allowance for your travel expenses (€ 0.21 cents per kilometer with a max. of 35 kilometers one way). We like to work together in the office, but you can also work partly from home.

The role

At Jumbo, we make grocery shopping more fun, easier, and smarter. As a Full Stack Typescript Engineer, you contribute to this continuously. You translate new insights and developments into solutions that simplify and accelerate processes without compromising on quality and stability. In doing so, you improve the work behind the scenes and ensure a smoother customer journey.

You work in the Customer & Assortment IT domain, in a team of seven colleagues and a Product Owner. From this team, you work on assortment solutions and making master data available. At the same time, you have a broad network within the organization, partly because many colleagues consume our data. No two days are the same. One moment you are diving into data and processes to pinpoint bottlenecks. The next moment you are working with colleagues on new solutions or helping other colleagues to connect to one of our microservices.

This is how you ensure that the right data is available in crucial processes and that the work for colleagues becomes a little easier every day.
