  • You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably with a pedagogical background, supplemented by a completed management degree.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience leading teams within childcare.

  • You are a strong, versatile, and result-oriented leader who maintains an overview, even when the pressure is high or much is changing.

  • You are people-oriented, strong in communication, and respectful. You have a sincere interest in different backgrounds and beliefs and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment in which everyone feels seen and valued.

  • You are a natural coach and leader. You know how to connect, inspire, and bring people along in changes and developments.

  • You are customer-oriented and have integrity, and you know how to collaborate in a connecting way with parents, schools, and other partners.

  • You have an eye for pedagogical quality, safety, and the well-being of children. You identify developments and risks in a timely manner and know how to advise on these, both requested and unsolicited.

  • You are strong numerically and analytically. You can interpret financial and operational figures, establish connections, and translate these into concrete actions and results.

  • You have knowledge of business operations and insight into the connection between finances, staff deployment, capacity, quality, and processes. You know how to make conscious choices in these areas and steer towards a healthy and future-proof organization.

  • You can switch smoothly between operational, tactical, and strategic levels. You have an eye for what is happening daily on the work floor, but at the same time know how to safeguard the course and organizational objectives for the long term.
