Catering Team Leader

• Leadership experience: You have experience in a leadership or senior role within catering, hospitality, retail, or supermarkets and are ready for the next step.
• Guest orientation: You have a sharp eye for service and know how to put a smile on our guests' faces.
• Team player with oversight: You know how to motivate a team and maintain oversight, even during busy moments.
• Strong communicator: You speak fluent Dutch (minimum level B2), which is essential for leading your team and contacting our guests.
• Hands-on mentality: From creating the schedule to helping behind the counter yourself: you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

As the restaurant team leader, you are the driving force behind a smoothly running catering department within the HEMA store. Together with the store manager and other team leaders, you ensure that everything runs like clockwork, take over each other's tasks during absences, and are ready to jump in where needed. Your most important task? Leading, coaching, and motivating your team so that they go to work every day with pleasure and hospitality. You make the restaurant a success by setting clear goals, both in terms of service and quality as well as in the development of your team members. Think of onboarding new colleagues, sharing menu changes and daily offers, ensuring hygiene and safety regulations, and driving for guest satisfaction. You are responsible for the daily operation, staff scheduling, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere in which guests feel at home.
