Ecommerce Category Internship

During this internship, you will contribute to the daily operations of the HEMA websites and ensure that the online environment looks optimal for our customers every single day. You will perform various product and content tasks, such as adding new items, placing banners, and logically clustering products within the webshop. Additionally, you will analyze website performance, conduct competitor analyses, and think along about improvements in the customer journey, for example in the areas of navigation, filters, and product presentation. In this way, you will contribute directly to the online growth of HEMA and discover how e-commerce, data, and customer experience come together within a leading retailer.

• You are pursuing a HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree, for example in the direction of commercial economics, business administration, marketing, communication, or a similar field of study, and have an interest in e-commerce and retail.
• You are available for a working internship starting from February 2027.
• You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both spoken and written.
• You have an interest in retail and e-commerce and enjoy working with various computer systems.
• You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and independent, but also accurate in your work.
• You act as a true team player and therefore fit in well with any team.
