Business Consultant Internship

During this internship, you will support business consultants in analyzing and optimizing supply chain processes and participate in issues regarding forecasting, inventory strategies, merchandise planning, Product Management processes, and innovations such as RFID. You will combine data, processes, and market developments to develop insights and translate these into clear presentations, advice, and concrete improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will work together with colleagues from various departments, support workshops, and help monitor the progress of projects and change programs. In this way, you will get a unique look behind the scenes of large-scale change trajectories within a retail organization, develop yourself as a business consultant, and make a visible contribution to the future of HEMA.

• You are a third-year HBO or WO student in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Retail, or a similar field.
• You are available for a working internship starting February 2027 and are enrolled at an educational institution throughout the entire period.
• You have good study results, and extracurricular activities, such as board work or relevant side activities, are seen as a plus.
• You are analytically strong and enjoy working with data, processes, and improvement issues.
• You take initiative, are curious, and like to think along about how things can be smarter and more efficient.
• You communicate clearly, switch easily between different teams, and can make complex matters understandable.
• You are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel and have an affinity for tools such as Power BI and AI applications.
• You are proficient in both the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
