What you'll get

  • You are the owner of a core category: your designs are the pieces our brand is known for
  • You see your work on the slopes of the best ski resorts in the world and in leading stores worldwide
  • You work at the intersection of fashion and performance, with room to experiment with innovative materials and techniques
  • You work closely in a small, passionate team where your ideas truly make a difference
  • You have the opportunity to grow with the brand

The role

As a Designer Outerwear, you are responsible for the entire outerwear category: technical ski jackets, coats, and mid-season jackets that perform on the mountain and look effortless beyond it. You oversee the category from start to finish. You determine the range structure, translate the seasonal concept into a strong and commercially balanced offering, and monitor the process from the first sketch and fabric choice to the approval of the fit. You work closely with Product Development, the technical team, Sales, and our suppliers, and you balance design, functionality, and commercial value. You closely follow trends in fashion, materials, and performance innovation and incorporate them into collections that are unmistakably Goldbergh.

Requirements

  • HBO degree in Fashion Design or similar
  • Experience in independently establishing and monitoring a full product category, including range planning and aligning choices with Sales and Product Development
  • 5 years of work experience as an outerwear designer, preferably in skiwear or performance outerwear within the premium or luxury segment
  • Thorough knowledge of technical fabrics, membranes, insulation, trims, and construction details such as tapes, baffles, and closures
  • Experience in creating tech packs and guiding factories from proto and fitting to SMS
  • A sharp eye for silhouette, fit, and detail, and a sense for the female body in motion
  • Good command of Adobe Illustrator; experience with 3D design is a plus
  • Commercial insight: you understand what sells and why
  • You are structured, proactive, and a true team player, and you communicate clearly in Dutch and English
