Design Director

As Design Director, you will lead the Goldbergh design team. You shape that team: you determine how we work, who joins us, and how we make every collection even stronger. You ensure an inspiring, professional working environment and translate the brand's creative direction into clear briefings and concrete collection plans. An important part of your role is growing the team. You attract, develop, and retain talent, and clearly define roles and responsibilities. Additionally, you set up and improve processes, from concept and design to product development and the handover to production. You work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring every collection is commercially strong and manufacturable. You also monitor quality and deadlines within the collection calendar.

• You have previously worked as a Design Director, Head of Design, or in a similar position, and have built up a team and the associated processes there
• You have demonstrable experience in fashion, preferably in the premium or ski segment, and knowledge of collection building, materials, and product development
• You have a great affinity with skiing and winter sports and understand what winter sports enthusiasts expect from their clothing, both on and off the slopes
• You are a strong leader: you inspire, provide clear direction, dare to steer, and give people space to grow
• You combine a sharp creative eye with commercial insight and a sense for planning
• You are a strong communicator and switch easily between creative teams and other departments
• You are structured and hands-on, and you bring the organization along in change
• You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English
