Senior Consultant Cyber Security

• You have a completed bachelor's or master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience within cybersecurity, technology risk, IT audit, privacy, resilience, or a similar field.
• You are familiar with relevant cybersecurity and risk frameworks and regulations, such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, COBIT, BIO, NIS2, DORA, and GDPR.
• You possess or are working towards a relevant certification, such as RE, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CIPP/E.
• You communicate clearly with both technical specialists and IT and business stakeholders, in Dutch and English.

Your new job | About your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant Cybersecurity within Technology Risk, you help organizations gain insight into their most important technological and cyber risks and translate these into concrete improvements. You work on issues in the areas of cloud, the use of AI in cybersecurity, ransomware resilience, secure IT infrastructure, SOC/SIEM, GDPR, and IT resilience. Additionally, you advise clients on relevant laws and regulations, such as the Cybersecurity Act.

You are substantively responsible for parts of assignments and work closely with clients, project teams, and other EY specialists. You conduct interviews, analyze processes, technical measures, and control measures, test these against frameworks and regulations, and translate your findings into clear recommendations for both IT management and business stakeholders.

What you will be doing includes:

• Performing cybersecurity, privacy, and IT resilience assessments based on relevant laws, regulations, and frameworks, such as the Cybersecurity Act and privacy legislation, and translating findings into concrete and actionable improvement measures.
• Guiding junior colleagues in the execution and quality of work, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team, and conducting feedback sessions.
• Collaborating with colleagues from audit, consulting, and other disciplines to provide clients with integrated advice on technology and cybersecurity issues.

Zwolle
Our office in Zwolle was recently renovated and feels modern and fresh. Its location near the highway makes the office easily accessible. A convivial atmosphere prevails inside, and because it is a compact office, you quickly get to know everyone. A nice place where you work together pleasantly and switch gears quickly.

Groningen
Our office in Groningen has a perfect location near the highway with plenty of parking available at the door. The office is small but nice, and there are inspiring meeting rooms available that many teams enjoy using. Due to the size of the office, there is a lot of interaction between the different departments. A convivial and cozy atmosphere prevails. The restaurant on the ground floor is known for the delicious, fresh, and healthy lunch that the team prepares every day.
