Festivals, clubs, concerts, venues, nightlife, ticketing, fans, line-ups, last-minute changes, sold-outs, and everything in between: you know the energy of the live industry.
At EVENTIM we support hundreds of organizers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and beyond with ticketing for festivals, concerts, venues, sports, and culture. With Paylogic, our white-label ticketing platform, we provide ticketing for organizations and events such as Paradiso, 013 Poppodium, Doornroosje, Dekmantel, Eurosonic Noorderslag, No Art, Tomorrowland, KNHB Sports, and Dutch Design Week.
For our Business Development team, we are looking for someone who is right in the middle of this world. Someone who understands how organizers think, how important timing and trust are, and how to turn a good conversation into a strong partnership.
Not someone who comes storming in with a sales pitch. But someone who listens, sees opportunities, and builds relationships that last.
As a Business Development Manager, you will help us grow within the world of festivals, clubs, and events. You will speak with organizers, venues, and partners about what they need to smarter organize their ticketing, visitor experience, and commercial results.
Sometimes that starts with a cup of coffee. Sometimes with a quick call between two production meetings. And sometimes with a conversation backstage, at a conference, or in the middle of a festival grounds.
You sense what is needed, ask the right questions, and know when to take action.
In this role, you will:
build new relationships within festivals, clubs, concerts, venues, and events,
further expand existing industry contacts,
conduct conversations with organizers about their plans, challenges, and ambitions,
show how our ticketing solutions can help with growth, convenience, and better visitor experiences,
translate commercial opportunities into strong partnerships,
make proposals that fit the client, the organization, and the event,
coordinate with colleagues from, among others, Client Success, Marketing, Legal, and Product,
attend events, networking drinks, showcases, conferences, and festivals,
follow the market and bring industry signals back to our team.
You are commercial, but not in the old-fashioned way. You don't need to be the loudest voice in the room. Your strength lies precisely in sensing, listening, and building trust.
You know how this sector works: sometimes fast, sometimes chaotic, often creative, and always in motion. That gives you energy.
We think you are a good fit if you:
already have a few years of experience in or around festivals, clubs, concerts, venues, or events,
have a network in the live industry, or know how to build one very naturally,
make contact easily and enjoy helping people,
think commercially, without every conversation having to feel like "sales",
understand that good partnerships require time, attention, and sincere interest,
work independently and like to take ownership,
see opportunities and take action on them in a natural way,
speak Dutch and can manage well in English,
roughly know what is happening in the market and are curious about what is yet to come.
You will join a team that has passion for the live industry and also knows it from up close. We work hard, move fast, and love people who take initiative. Not a clunky corporate environment, but a place where your ideas are welcome and where you truly have influence on how we grow.
This is what you can expect:
a salary that matches your experience,
a bonus scheme,
a laptop of your choice and a one-time home office allowance,
hybrid working and flexibility in how you organize your week,
a nice workplace in the heart of Amsterdam,
an international team with extensive knowledge of ticketing and live entertainment,
room to learn, experiment, and further develop yourself,
access to OpenUp for coaching and mental support,
a pension scheme,
a fresh vegetarian lunch at the office every day,
team outings, drinks, internal events, and company parties,
the opportunity to visit events and be close to the industry.
At EVENTIM, we bring live experiences to life in the Netherlands and Belgium. Every day, we help fans discover, buy, and experience tickets for concerts, festivals, theater, sports, comedy, and cultural events. We are part of Europe's number 1 in ticketing and live entertainment, with more than 300 million tickets sold per year in more than 25 countries, supporting events of all sizes with reliable and accessible ticketing and e-commerce solutions.
Because you work with the people behind the events that others attend.
You sit at the table with organizers, clubs, venues, and festival teams. You think along about growth, ticketing, visitor flows, data, communication, and everything involved in a strong event experience.
And above all: you build partnerships that go beyond a single campaign or a single season.
Does this sound like your world? Then we would love to meet you.
