Droppie is a unique recycling store where you can drop off all your used items in a single visit. A place where what you drop off gains value again, for you, for your neighborhood, and for the future. You can come to us with all kinds of recyclable items, from old clothing and broken electronics to plastic packaging, frying oil, plastic deposit bottles, and cans. At our drop-points, you can easily drop everything off at once. Every drop counts. As soon as you drop something off, you can immediately see in the Droppie app what you have done and what you get in return. You can keep that reward yourself, share it with a charity, or save it together with your neighborhood for something beautiful. As an assistant store manager at Droppie, you ensure that the store runs smoothly and that the team on the floor works well together. You are the first point of contact during your shift, support new colleagues, and maintain an overview. Together with the store manager, you create a pleasant working atmosphere and a strong store experience for our customers. You still have both feet on the floor, but you take just that little bit of extra responsibility.

• Leading the team on the floor, with attention to overview and a pleasant atmosphere

• Enthusiastically involving customers in the Droppie concept

• Performing various operational tasks: answering questions from customers and colleagues, purchasing team lunches and stock, providing good onboarding for new employees, coordinating pickups for waste and recyclable goods, and contributing to a tidy store both front and back of house

• Maintaining contact with external partners regarding questions or malfunctions

• Identifying needs or bottlenecks on the work floor and reporting these back to the store manager

• You coach and support colleagues with an extra need for guidance on the work floor
