DevOps engineer

• In-depth knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, and preferably GCP

• Experience with Java and the integration of Java applications in a Cloud environment

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for managing infrastructure

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring in a Cloud environment, for example with OpenTelemetry and Grafana

• A hands-on mentality: you love building and improving systems and are not afraid to apply new technologies

• At least HBO (higher professional education) level of work and thinking

• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps environment with relevant technologies

As a DevOps engineer at DigiBoox, you will receive a lot of responsibility and a wide range of tasks. You will work on managing our entire tech stack, using the latest technologies in a Cloud-based environment.

Your main tasks and technologies include:

• Cloud integration: You work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and implement observability with tools such as OpenTelemetry and Grafana. You

are responsible for distributed tracing, metrics, and logs to monitor and improve the operation of our platforms.

• Java integration: You ensure the integration of Java applications with Cloud technologies such as Cloud Tasks, certificates, and GitHub Actions. You

play a crucial role in our system's backend and work with technologies such as Jetty embedded and end-to-end tests.

• Operations and infrastructure: You work with modern infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to manage our applications

and scale them.

• Fintech integrations: You have an active role in developing and managing connections with external parties such as banks and other

fintech platforms.
