Would you like to work as a driver in a fixed 4-on-4-off schedule? Drive four days between FrieslandCampina locations, sleep in your truck, and then have four days off. You will drive fixed routes with little waiting time and work together with a close-knit team of fellow drivers. The base location is Veghel or Barneveld (or somewhere in between).
Driving between fixed locations according to a tight schedule;
Sleeping in your truck during your workdays;
Independently loading/unloading and coupling from the ground (no climbing onto the tank);
Working safely and hygienically with liquid food products;
Clear and proactive communication with planning and colleagues.
You are our calling card on the road and at the factories, and therefore we expect you to drive well and neatly. You have some knowledge (or will learn this from your colleagues) about driving with liquid food products, so that you work safely and hygienically. Coupling and loading/unloading independently is all done from the ground (so you do not need to climb onto the tank) and you will also learn this before you truly head out on the road by yourself. Therefore, you do not need to be an experienced driver yet.
You have a lot of freedom, but you must meet your schedule. That does not mean driving like crazy, but it means communicating well with your fellow drivers and the planning department, and for example, making tactical choices for your work schedule. We expect you to communicate clearly and proactively about what you are doing and what you encounter on the road as potential obstacles.
