We are the people who assemble the technical clockwork under the hood, so that users at the front end receive a simple, reliable, and valuable experience.

As an AI Consultant, you connect strategy and execution. You translate vague customer questions into concrete AI use cases, substantiated business cases, and an actionable solution direction. You are the first point of contact for customers who "want to do something with AI," and you help them translate that "something" into value, feasibility, and results.

You operate at the intersection of business and technology.
You understand the substance of AI, but you think in terms of application, business case, and implementation. You advise, write proposals, substantiate investments, and work together with your team on execution.

You do not need to program daily, but you do need to know what is happening technically—so that you can design realistic, convincing, and workable solutions.

As an AI Consultant:

• You lead sessions with (potential) customers in which you sharpen business problems and define AI solutions.

• You develop use cases and MVP proposals including value proposition, KPIs, costs, and impact.

• You collaborate with engineers to develop a realistic delivery plan and architecture.

• You write convincing propositions and quotes that are strong both in substance and commercially.

• You guide projects until the first delivery and monitor customer satisfaction.

• You think strategically about product positioning and reusable AI concepts within Clockworks.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has 3–7 years of experience in AI, data science, or technology consulting.

• Combines substantive knowledge of AI (machine learning, computer vision, generative AI) with strong communication and commercial skills.

• Understands the technical basics (Python, notebooks, cloud, MLOps), but feels at home in conversations about value, strategy, and implementation.

• Has experience writing proposals, business cases, or concept documents.

• Is entrepreneurial, curious, energetic, and empathetic – someone who inspires confidence and takes initiative.

• Has excellent command of Dutch and English.

• You work at the forefront of AI applications, with customers who take innovation seriously.

• You combine strategy, business, and technology in one role with visible impact.
