The role

As a Test Manager, you know better than anyone how to ensure quality and get teams moving. But do you also get the space to grow and get the most out of your career? Do you want to work in an environment where your development is taken just as seriously as the quality of the work you deliver? Then please read on.

What you'll do

As a Test Manager, you are the lead in quality engineering at our clients. Your focus lies on coaching, improvement trajectories, and Center of Excellence activities. When quality becomes complex or truly needs to be structured differently, you come into play. You can then make others aware of quality at the beginning of the process (shift-left) and after the release (shift-right) like no other. You form the bridge between IT and the business and know how to guide and coach others in doing so.

Due to the great diversity of clients, you can also work on various assignments. For example, one time you might be deployed more as a Test Manager with a focus on a project or program, managing test activities and strategies from there. At other times, you can work on improvement trajectories and the quality of processes, where you increasingly move towards the role of Quality Architect.

The best version of yourself as a Test Manager

As a thought leader in the field of best practices such as TMAP, Quality Engineering, and Testing, Sogeti offers many opportunities for self-development. With many different trainings, QX-Day (Sogeti's largest test inspiration event), and a strong community of specialists, you can continue to grow. Within Sogeti, but also on our assignments. Do you enjoy sharing your expertise and experience with colleagues? Then you have the opportunity for that here as well. For example, by giving presentations or workshops. There is also much possible in the field of innovation! For instance, you can delve into the possibilities that AI offers within your field.

This is how you become the best version of yourself

  • You become part of one of the largest Quality Engineering & Testing divisions in the Netherlands (500+ professionals), where expertise, innovation, and building quality into every phase are central;
  • You will join a close-knit community of 110 colleagues, with whom you can brainstorm about challenges on an assignment, but where much knowledge sharing also takes place through community days, open forums, and intervision sessions;
  • Within our vision of Amplified Quality Engineering, we use AI as an amplifier. We invest in tooling, adoption, and development, including our own GenAI solution;
  • You make an impact with various challenging clients and engage in discussions about priorities, investments, and sustainable choices;
  • In-house training from AI to communication and leadership skills, so that you can develop in a way that suits you. And there are plenty of opportunities to share your expertise with colleagues through knowledge sharing or workshops;
  • Participating in inspiring events where you can gain knowledge, share knowledge yourself, build a network, and actively contribute to a field that is constantly in motion.

Hiring process

1 interview

  • Submitting your application takes 3 to 5 minutes (name, contact details, CV and optional cover letter).
  • When you accept the offer you receive a pre-boarding plan and an invitation to the monthly RISE welcome event.
