(Furniture) Delivery Driver Uden

At Beter Bed, we are growing every day. That is why the workload is constantly increasing, and we would love to strengthen our team with new go-getters. As a Delivery Driver, you will hit the road every day with a colleague to deliver and assemble beds, mattresses, and all kinds of other bedroom products at our customers' locations. Have a nice chat or enjoy the view on the way to the customer, and then get stuck in at the customer's place to deliver and/or assemble their new bedroom products. With all that heavy lifting, you won't even need to warm up when you go to the gym after work.

• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, so that you can communicate clearly with your customers and colleagues.
• You are driven and know how to get things done
• Good heavy lifting and a bit of sweating. Nothing is as nice as 'getting paid to exercise', right?
• You are handy
• You have (possibly) a B driving license. If not, you can always join as a passenger
• As a driver with a C driving license, you score extra points
• Prefer part-time or a side job? No problem!

If you want to work as a student / side job, that is also possible! If you often have a weekday off, you can also work as a delivery driver then.

• Starting salary € 2,450 to € 2,800 per month + 8% holiday allowance
• Performance bonus of € 200 to € 500 per month
• 20% discount on all our amazing (sleep) products
• The nicest colleagues
• 25 vacation days (with a full-time contract)
• You can start quickly and will be employed by Beter Bed immediately. If we are both satisfied after your first temporary contract, you will receive a permanent contract immediately.
• Various internal trainings and courses to fully prepare you or to allow you to grow even further within transport and logistics

Even if you have no experience as a driver or courier, but for example do have experience as a logistics employee, warehouse worker, order picker, parcel delivery driver, or even if you have no experience at all in transport / logistics, you can always apply! Immediately, during the week or on the weekend.

* As part of the selection procedure, we will conduct a background check and request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

Beter Bed was founded in 1983 with the opening of the first two sleep specialty stores in the Netherlands. In the years that followed, we grew to become the leading sleep specialist in the Netherlands and Belgium. We believe that everyone can sleep better and live better. With personal attention and an extensive, innovative, and smartly positioned assortment for every budget. We reach our customers both online and offline through the retail formulas Beter Bed, Beddenreus, and the wholesale organization DBC (where the brand M-line is sold, among others).

Together with more than 1,000 colleagues from about 130 stores in the Netherlands and Belgium, 4 distribution centers, and a head office in Uden, we continue to build on the success of Beter Bed. There is, of course, always room for new talent. Because ambitious dreams—we have plenty of those. Beter Bed offers everyone equal opportunities. Our goal is to provide a work environment where everyone feels welcome, equal, and valued. Not despite, but thanks to the differences.
