Do you want to help organizations truly put information security and digital security and resilience on the map, provide strategic direction, create opportunities, and build a powerful network? As a managing consultant at Berenschot, you are both a subject matter expert and an entrepreneurial leader. You ensure that information security is placed on—and remains on—the administrative agenda for our clients, and that our team grows through your vision, contacts, and commercial strength. Together with our clients, society, and your colleagues, you work towards sustainable impact.

• In this role, you are more than an advisor. You are a strategic partner for boards and management, a driver in market development, and a subject matter authority in the field of information security. Because you also play a role in further expanding our portfolio, you take an active position in acquisition and relationship management. Your activities include, among others:

• strategic advice and thought leadership. You advise organizations at the highest level on digital resilience, risk management, and compliance with relevant standards and legislation.

• market development and acquisition. You build and maintain a strong network, identify opportunities, and know how to convert them into assignments.

• the development and implementation of solutions. You help clients realize and safeguard improvements in information security.

• risk analysis and policymaking. You perform in-depth risk analyses and develop strategic frameworks for governance and security.

• leadership and coaching. You lead project teams, mentor fellow consultants, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing both within and outside Berenschot.

• publication and profiling. You write articles, speak at conferences, and use your expertise to further position Berenschot as a leading advisor in information security. In short: you combine substantive depth with entrepreneurship and use your network and knowledge to realize progress.

• collaboration within the Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem. You collaborate with (semi)public parties within the Cyber Resilience Network. You know how the cybersecurity system in the Netherlands functions and leverage this to realize impactful solutions.

You will join our Digital Transformation team, which is growing rapidly. This team combines expertise in public administration, legal knowledge, and technology to work on challenging issues surrounding digitalization. We work closely with teams from other domains, such as the physical, social, and security domains. Together with your colleagues, you will work on projects for administrators and managers of municipalities, water boards, provinces, ministries, and non-profit organizations.

• A completed Wo-master's degree, preferably supplemented with certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience, with proven results in the fields of information security, cybersecurity, and strategic advice.

• Experience in acquisition and maintaining a relevant and active network.

• Excellent communication skills and persuasiveness towards management and boards.

• An entrepreneurial attitude, focused on seeing and realizing growth opportunities.

• Demonstrable knowledge of the Dutch cybersecurity system is a plus, including relevant laws and regulations, partnerships (such as ISACs, NCWN), and governance structures.

• An attractive salary between € 6,100 and € 9,295 per month, depending on your experience.
