What we're looking for

Education and experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:

HVK (Hogere Veiligheidskunde) or similar education/certification/experience
A technical background and proven knowledge about EUV Machines (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
At least 10 years of experience in health and safety within high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor production.

Nice to have

Experience with environmental management is a big plus
Strong knowledge of Dutch and EU safety regulations, including the Safety Act and Environmental Act.

Skills
To thrive in this position, you will need the following skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.
Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, FMEA) and incident investigation techniques (Kelvin Topset, Tripod Beta, RCA).
Strong analytical skills to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is preferred.

Join ASML as a Senior Safety Professional within the EUV Factory, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Your expertise will directly impact the health and safety of our high-tech manufacturing processes, ensuring that our operations meet the highest safety standards. This position is vital for fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement in our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.

What you'll do

Role and responsibilities
As a Senior Safety Professional, you will:

Support and drive the development and refinement of (technical) safety policies and procedures.
Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and ASML policies.
Develop and deliver safety training programs to enhance workplace safety awareness.
Lead Severe Incident Investigations and track safety performance indicators to provide insights for improvement.
Drive the maturity level for Safety to an Independent level
Be able to act as a trusted EHS advisor to operations, engineering, and facility management teams, in case of need.
Be able to drive the Improvement Safety Roadmap in the Operational Departments in case of need.
