Data Engineer Groningen

• at least two years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar technical role
• experience with building pipelines in, for example, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS
• good knowledge of SQL and data modeling
• experience with unlocking data from various sources (cloud and on-premise)
• you speak Dutch at a minimum of B2 level

• basic knowledge of Python or Spark is a plus

As a Data Engineer at Sopra Steria, you ensure that data becomes available and usable. You build smart pipelines, connect data sources, and ensure that our customers can rely on up-to-date, well-structured information.

You will work on diverse challenges: one time you set up a new data stream with Azure Data Factory or Snowflake, the next time you optimize an existing solution for scalability or performance. You collaborate with analysts, architects, and consultants and think along about the best technical approach. You are sharp on quality, reusability, and security.

From data modeling to cloud migrations: you know what is needed to get the right data to the right place at the right time.
