As an F&B Staff member (m/f/d), you are responsible for the restaurant and banqueting. You enjoy being an authentic host and feel at ease in contact with our national and international guests.

06:15 You arrive. Go to the locker room and put on your work clothes.

06:30 The breakfast service begins. You prepare the buffet and behind the scenes, you ensure that everything is ready for a busy morning. Set out the kettles for the water buffet in the lobby.

If we expect many guests, you will also work together with a dishwasher. Ensure that you communicate clearly, so that everyone knows what is expected of him or her.

07:00 Guests arrive for breakfast. You ask for the room number and inform the guests about the freshly prepared dishes. If they have not been with us before, you give them a quick tour.

If necessary, you prepare room service and deliver it to the room.

09:00 You go to get a cup of coffee and get one for the breakfast cook as well. You are a team!

Ensure that labeling follows HACCP rules.

10:00 (Sat) 11:00 (Sun) 12:00 Breakfast has ended. You let our guests know 15 minutes in advance that we are going to close, so they can prepare for it. Guests may stay for 15 minutes after closing time, but we already begin cleaning while they are still there. You put all products in the refrigerator ready for the next day. You ensure that the restaurant is ready for the next shift.

Together with a colleague, you balance the cash register and ensure that the data is recorded correctly.

After you have had lunch in the canteen around 11:30, you do a round through the canteen, tidy everything up, and prepare the canteen for the next day. Among other things, you clean the coffee machine. At 14:30, everything is ready and you meet up with colleagues for a cup of coffee after work.

• Helping guests brings a big smile to your face. The 'always a pleasure' mentality is something you recognize in yourself and you love to go the extra mile for the guest;

• You love hard work, have an eye for detail, and see opportunities in every situation and challenge;

• You have a passion for food and drink. Experience and a relevant education are useful, but not the most important thing to us;

• You speak and understand English, Dutch is a plus;

• You have the gift of sharing your passion and knowledge with both guests and your colleagues.
