Logistics & Supply Chain Trainee

• Very important: a good salary! A starting salary of € 3,430 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week. Every 6 months, during the traineeship, you will receive a salary increase of 150 euros gross per month.

As a Logistics & Supply Chain Trainee at AS Watson, parent company of Kruidvat, Trekpleister, and ICI PARIS XL, among others, you will work for the fastest-growing retailer in the Netherlands. Within our logistics centers in Heteren, Ede, and Oosterhout NB, you will get the chance to get to know different parts of the Supply Chain up close. This way, you discover where your talents lie and build a broad foundation for your further career step by step. What does the trajectory of a Logistics & Supply Chain Trainee look like?

• You will complete a learning trajectory of approximately 3 years in various Supply Chain roles.
• For example, you might start in the role of Team Leader in our distribution center. By temporarily working in shift work and leading a team of approximately 35 employees, you will get to know the logistics operation up close and develop your leadership skills.
• Subsequently, you will broaden your Supply Chain experience. You will move on to departments such as Store Replenishment and Supply Chain Development.
• Because you get to know different roles and departments, your insight into the entire Supply Chain grows. At every step, you will better understand how operational processes, data, projects, and improvement trajectories are interconnected.

During the traineeship, you will be given the space to learn a lot, ask questions, and challenge yourself. You will get to know different parts of the Supply Chain and gain increasing insight into how processes, projects, and the operation are interconnected. Additionally, you will be guided by a mentor from the Supply Chain Management Team, HR, and the managers you work with, so that you continue to develop yourself both personally and professionally.
