About the company & team
You will find the service desk in the heart of your store, where all customers are seen, helped, and 'waved goodbye'. At this service desk, you will find, among other things, the self-scan checkouts and a service point. Customers can also come here for the snack shop, fresh flowers, or magazines. You make the difference here by committing yourself every day with great enthusiasm so that every customer leaves the store feeling good. You don't just speak to customers kindly; you also love to go the extra mile. You notice what the customers' needs are, answer questions, and provide advice. Additionally, you support your supervisor with the daily matters within the department. Whatever you do, it is:
- Providing the best service to customers, including resolving complaints and returns.
- Supporting and coaching your team. Together, you ensure that customers are helped at the service desk at all times.
- You onboard new colleagues with enthusiasm.
- Enthusing and supporting customers in the use of the self-scan and self-service checkout.
- Supervising correct checkout procedures at all self-scan checkouts and performing spot checks.
