Internship HR - Assistant (Dutch)

• Our HR administration team manages the personnel administration for all stores in the Netherlands. Together with your colleagues, you will support and advise (assistant) store managers and store employees on various HR issues. You will answer questions via our HR mailbox and telephone and ensure that everyone is helped quickly and effectively.

• You will get to know all the processes we work with daily: from hiring and contract extensions to changes in hours and terminations. You will take responsibility in this and ensure that everything is processed correctly and in a timely manner.

• In addition to handling emails, mutations, and questions, you will also contribute to HR projects. With your fresh perspective, you will think along about how we can make processes smarter and more efficient.

• Accurate HR administration is the foundation of a well-functioning HR system. You will help us keep data up to date and prepare reports that provide insight into what is happening within Hunkemöller.

About you!

• You would love to learn all the ins and outs of HR and you have a heart for retail.

• Your way of working can be described as proactive, accurate, and you know how to set priorities well.

• You have good communication and social skills.

• MBO/HBO student, with a study in the direction of HR.

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.

• Work From Home Policy (WFH): For an internship of 40 hours per week, you may work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, work-from-home possibilities may vary to better support your learning and training process.

• Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ vacation days (based on 40 hours per week).

• Travel Allowance: Max. €23 per day (depending on your travel distance), if you do not qualify for the free Student OV-Chipkaart.

• Extra Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also company events such as Townhalls and drinks.

For this internship, you must be available for at least 5 months starting from September 2026. Please note: your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university throughout the entire internship period. Additionally, to comply with Dutch legislation, one of the following conditions must apply:

• You are an EU citizen.

• You have a family/partner visa.

• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands and meet at least one of the following conditions: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
