At Royal Van Lent Shipyard, we want you to not only flourish in your career but also enjoy a healthy balance between work and private life. Therefore, we have put together an attractive and complete offer:
Join our team and experience the unique atmosphere of working on superyachts at Royal Van Lent Shipyard!
In a modern dock hall in Westpoort Amsterdam, we have well-equipped workshops. There, we have space for superyachts up to 160 meters, both for new builds and for refits. We build the most beautiful and largest yachts in the world with a mix of innovation and years of experience. Without a dock team, there is no superyacht.
As a Slipway, Dock & Transport Worker, you will make an important contribution to that. You will fall under the dock crew of the Facilities department. This crew forms an important pillar of the shipyard. Together with the team, you ensure that the yachts are docked and undocked and also ensure that the shipyard remains spick and span.
In this position, you help with the docking and undocking of superyachts. You also contribute to a safe and efficient conduct of sea trials. You ensure that the shipyard, the quay, and the waste station are neat and orderly, so that work can be carried out safely and pleasantly. You ensure that all applicable regulations are carefully complied with.
Sometimes work is performed outside of regular production hours, including weekends, evenings, and during the summer shipyard closure.
