The role

We are looking for a colleague specialized in employer branding who will lead / further shape our proposition in this area. In this role, you are the person where budgets and objectives begin, and where you will seek the translation to specialists at the channel level. You have a sense for the role of creative collaborations in the employer branding strategy. And in doing so, you will work closely with our branded content, influencer marketing, and employee advocacy departments.

You will play an important role on our Rijksoverheid (Central Government) account. To lead labor market strategies and campaigns across the departments of the account (think of Defense, DJI, other ministries). But in addition, you will also be attached to other clients where these opportunities lie.

In this role, it is necessary that you speak the language of labor market communication. And with that, the playing field of HR, recruitment, marketing, and media. You have a vision of how the employer brand seamlessly connects to your other brand communications. That means you understand:

Knowledge of media strategy and media planning

You know how to find your way in the complex landscape of channels and tactics. At its core, based on budget and objectives at a high level, you can think along with the client about how a channel mix should be arranged for effectiveness. In doing so, you enjoy having channel specialists subsequently work out plans at a detailed level and activate channels. You have knowledge of:

In addition, we see a major role in retrieving 'stories' from the client organization that become part of the employer branding. Our proposition lead on Employee Advocacy will play a role in this by setting up employee activation, but in addition, there must be a vision on how the internal organization and its activation align with the employer branding strategy. ]

Experience and expertise in Employer Branding

  • How an Employer Value Proposition (EVP) is developed and activated
  • What candidates find important in their choice of an employer
  • Candidate journeys and recruitment funnels
  • Differences between target groups such as IT professionals, policymakers, enforcement officers, technicians, and healthcare professionals
  • Paid, owned, and earned media
  • Digital media planning
  • Basic knowledge of the role of specialist channels such as programmatic advertising, social advertising, search marketing, and job platforms

Importantly, you put the puzzle together for a strategy together with specialists, including:

  • Which target groups are reachable where
  • Which channel fits which employer branding challenge
  • How budgets are optimally distributed
  • You understand which KPIs play a role in the full funnel candidate journey
  • Political and administrative sensitivities
  • Public accountability
  • Transparency requirements
  • Inclusivity and diversity
  • Accessibility requirements
  • Procurement processes
  • Labor market trends
  • Scarce target groups
  • Competitive analysis
  • Positioning of employers
  • Labor market data and research
