IT-manager

• Experience in a leadership IT role within a professional organization; experience within an organization with 250+ employees is a plus.

• Sound knowledge of modern Microsoft Cloud infrastructures, including Microsoft 365 and Azure, and IT security.

• Strong advisory and communication skills: you switch smoothly between subject matter specialists, external partners, and the management board.

• Excellent command of the Dutch language.

• Continuity and innovation: you safeguard the quality and continuity of our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, workplace automation, and IT infrastructure. Additionally, you actively explore the opportunities of new technologies, including AI.

• Leadership: you provide coaching-based leadership to the IT team, consisting of 9 people. This includes permanent colleagues and freelancers. You stimulate collaboration, development, and ownership.

• Security and governance: in close consultation with the CISO, you develop and implement policies regarding IT governance, data, and system security.

• Projects and partners: you lead organization-wide IT projects, manage contracts, conduct negotiations with suppliers, and monitor the IT annual plan and the budget.

The IT team consists of a group of smart and enthusiastic specialists; both permanent employees and on a freelance basis. Together, you ensure that our more than 550 colleagues can work digitally optimally and securely.

The department is involved in, among other things, user support, the management of the Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, network management, and security. The team also maintains contact with external IT suppliers. All with one common goal: providing optimal, reliable, and secure IT services for Berenschot.

As IT manager, you lead this team and report to the CFO. You work in a knowledge-intensive organization with many smart and independent-minded colleagues who have high expectations of their digital working environment.
