Veterinary Surgeon with leadership ambitions? Grow into a Practice Manager.
Are you a veterinary surgeon and do you want to play a larger role in the development of your team and practice alongside patient care? Do you get energy from collaborating, improving, and inspiring people? Then this combined role as a veterinary surgeon and practice manager at AniCura in the Eindhoven region might be your next step.
As a practice manager, you will get the opportunity to combine your veterinary experience with leadership and entrepreneurship. You will remain involved in the daily care of animals, while simultaneously providing direction to the development of the clinic, the team, and the business operations.
So you don't have to choose between veterinary medicine and management; at AniCura, you can combine both worlds.
AniCura is a leading provider of high-quality veterinary care in Europe and part of Mars Veterinary Health. At AniCura, we believe that strong teams provide the best care. That is why we invest in our people and give professionals the space to take responsibility, develop themselves, and truly make a difference.
You will work together with dedicated colleagues who have passion for their profession and will receive plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself both professionally and personally.
As a Practice Manager, you are the connecting force between daily practice operations, the team, and the strategic direction of the clinic(s).
From your background as a veterinary surgeon, you understand better than anyone what is needed to enable high-quality patient care. You ensure an environment in which veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses can work optimally, develop themselves, and practice their profession with pleasure.
In addition to your duties as a veterinary surgeon, you will be involved in, among other things:
Managing and developing the daily business operations of the clinic(s).
Guiding, coaching, and inspiring the team.
Improving processes, quality, and results.
Creating an open, safe, and professional working environment.
Translating AniCura's vision and strategy into practice.
Stimulating collaboration, ownership, and professional growth.
Collaborating with the regional Operations Team and other practice managers to share knowledge and experiences.
We would like to coordinate the exact distribution between veterinary duties and management tasks with you, matching your ambitions and the needs of the clinic.
You are an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon who, in addition to good patient care, also likes to take responsibility for the bigger picture. You enjoy guiding colleagues, implementing improvements, and building a successful practice together.
In addition, you possess:
A completed degree in Veterinary Medicine.
Experience as a veterinary surgeon and affinity with leadership and organizational development (experience as a practice manager is a plus).
Good communication skills and the ability to bring people along.
A coaching and connecting leadership style.
Interest in business operations, processes, and practice development.
An entrepreneurial and result-oriented attitude.
Experience with management tasks is a bonus, but not a requirement. More important is your ambition to grow in this area.
At AniCura, you will get the space to shape your career and increase your impact within veterinary care.
You can count on:
A versatile combined role in which veterinary medicine and leadership come together.
A salary appropriate to your experience and responsibilities.
Excellent secondary employment benefits.
Plenty of opportunities for training, development, and career progression.
A professional working environment with dedicated and expert colleagues.
A lot of autonomy and space to help build the future of the clinic.
At AniCura, the employee is central. We like to invest in your development, job satisfaction, and sustainable employability.
Do you want to use your experience as a veterinary surgeon to help not only animals, but also people and organizations grow further?
Do you want to know more or meet us without obligation?
