The Specialistische Dierenkliniek Utrecht (SDU) is a 2nd-line clinic and has been located along the A2 ring road since 2012. At the SDU, a close-knit team of 13 European specialists and 20 veterinary nurses works, providing high-level veterinary expertise. In addition to progressive specialist veterinary medicine, we distinguish ourselves through our personal approach. You will join a friendly, stable, and close-knit team where everyone supports one another and a positive atmosphere prevails. For admitted patients, there is a medium care facility available during weekdays. We have specialists in various disciplines such as Surgery/Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Medical Imaging, Anesthesia and Pain Management, Internal Medicine, and Urology.

• A position for 20-24 hours (2-3 days), on weekdays with working hours between 08:30 and 19:30 without night shifts

We are looking for a specialist veterinarian who:

• Is a specialist in internal medicine for companion animals, European recognized Dipl. ECVIM-CA Internal Medicine

• Is passionate about the medicine of dogs and cats and the follow-up of complex referral care

• Wants to further expand internal medicine together in a team that already includes 2 Dipl. ECVIM-CA Internal Medicine specialists

• Has an interest in a collaborative approach with other European certified specialists within our clinic;

• Possesses an excellent team spirit and strong communication skills

• Is patient- and client-oriented, with empathy and professionalism

• Is open to knowledge sharing, training, and continuous development
