Mechanical Track Technician - Hollands Noorderkwartier

• An MBO level of working and thinking and an affinity for technology.

Do you ensure that trains can always run safely and on time? As a Track Mechanical Technician at Strukton Rail , you and your team will carry out maintenance and inspections on the tracks and switches in the Hollands Noorderkwartier region. Safety is always our top priority. That is why you will not only work during the day, but also on weekends and nights to ensure that the rail infrastructure remains in top condition. 

At Strukton Rail , you will work together with professionals who are proud of their work. You will perform mechanical work on tracks and switches, using advanced machinery. For example, think of track maintenance work with views of the characteristic landscape of North Holland, from Alkmaar to Den Helder.

You will work in a close-knit team that ensures well-maintained tracks in the Hollands Noorderkwartier region. In addition to your direct colleagues at Strukton Rail, you are part of the larger Strukton team, with more than 2000 colleagues working within infrastructure.  

• Performing work on track-related infrastructure.  

• Carrying out measurements, checks, and reporting progress.  

• Performing and recording safety inspections.
