What you bring:

at least a higher professional education (HBO) degree
at least two years of experience as a Product Owner
experience with Agile working and prioritizing backlogs
strong communication skills in Dutch at a minimum of B2 level
affinity with sectors such as finance, government, utilities, or industry is a plus

You will work in Groningen, within our Digital Product Management practice. Here, product managers, (lead) product owners, business analysts, and agile analysts work together to shape and realize product visions and strategies. We combine client assignments with the development of new propositions and the resolution of challenging client cases. Sharing knowledge and inspiring one another is central.

What you'll do

As a Product Owner at Sopra Steria, you are the link between the client and the development team. You understand the question behind the question, translate it into a clear vision, and ensure that this is realized in practice. You work on digital products that add value for the client and their users.

You maintain an overview of the backlog, align priorities with stakeholders, and ensure that the team knows what is needed to take the next step. You contribute to product strategies and roadmaps and are not afraid to make choices when necessary.

You work for diverse clients in sectors such as finance, government, utilities, and industry. One time you support the launch of a new digital platform, the next time you help an organization to work in a more product-oriented way.

You work hybrid, with Groningen as your permanent location.

You have a clear vision and know how to bring others along with you. You feel comfortable in different organizations and know how to build bridges between business and IT. You maintain an overview, even when many things are happening at once, and you have an eye for both the big picture and the details.
