Production Manager in Utrecht

• A salary between €4,500 and €6,400 gross per month, excluding allowances for the 4-shift roster (we pay every four weeks), tailored to the education, knowledge, and experience you bring;

As a Production Manager (in shift work), your goal is to lead cooperation and management effectively and to optimize our production process at a tactical and strategic level. You will be given a great deal of responsibility and autonomy, enabling you like no other to activate and connect the various links within the CDC Vers. Everything to ensure that the customer is served to the maximum every single day.

• Working within a shift according to the goals set by operations, together with your team.
• Leading and coaching your team, being visible on the production floor, and acting as a point of contact for your team or other colleagues.
• You work closely with colleagues in the control room to make and take substantive decisions that deviate from a 'happy flow'.
• The execution of the total production process from receipt of goods to outgoing goods, in line with the production policy and in collaboration with various colleagues.
• Participating in or leading improvement projects within your portfolio and being responsible for an optimal setup of the departments.
• Ensuring effective communication and direction for your team.
• Responsible for identifying and analyzing deviations in production work processes and implementing improvement proposals in accordance with the JPS/LEAN methodology.

In Nieuwegein stands our state-of-the-art central distribution center (CDC Vers) in which our Fresh products are stored. Our mechanized CDC Vers is equipped with the newest and most advanced technologies on the market with the ultimate goal of getting all our products to the customer. In April 2024, our CDC Vers in Nieuwegein opened and is running at full capacity. Around 2.5 million shipments are realized per week by the team.
