The role
A Feadship is known worldwide for its unique appearance, uncompromising quality, and interiors executed in exquisite detail. As an Interior Project Engineer, you shape interiors that exist nowhere else in the world. You translate exclusive designs into smart technical solutions and ensure that the design is ultimately built exactly according to the client's dream.
From the first technical elaboration to production, you ensure that designs become reality and that every interior component seamlessly meets the highest expectations of our clients.
"Every yacht has a unique interior design. It is a beautiful challenge every time to translate that design technically - with room for your own technical creativity and attention to manufacturability, client wishes, and Feadship quality."
- Richard Kalker, Principal Interior Engineer
No two yachts are the same. That means standard solutions rarely exist. It is precisely the task of devising smart technical solutions within extremely high quality requirements that makes this role so challenging. The combination of technology, customization, and craftsmanship makes this position so special. You literally see your work reflected in one of the most exclusive superyachts in the world.
Only a limited number of engineers get the chance to work on interiors at this level of customization, luxury, and technical complexity.
What you'll do
- You take charge of the entire engineering process and translate exclusive interior designs into a technically manufacturable and production-ready final result.
- You bring design, engineering, production, and suppliers together and ensure that all disciplines work towards a common goal using the same principles.
- You manage internal and external drafters, monitor planning and quality, and maintain control over the progress of the project.
- As the technical point of contact, you assess designs, specifications, and quotes for quality, manufacturability, and feasibility.
- Throughout the entire process, you safeguard Feadship standards, class requirements, and safety, so that the final result meets the highest expectations.
Only a limited number of engineers get the chance to work on interiors at this level of customization, luxury, and technical complexity.
What you bring
If you do not fully meet the above requirements but are still an enthusiastic and experienced candidate, please feel free to contact the recruiter.
